This year’s event, held on October 11, was hosted by the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society, which runs the Onderdonk House.
The house was built around 1709, and operated as working farmstead into the 1920’s. The property was taken over by the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society in the 1970’s.
The house is now a city, state and National Landmark.
Visitors to the Harvest Festival were treated to a barbeque, live music, children’s activities (pumpkin decorating and face painting were the most popular), and a tour of the historic house.
