Dear Editor,

Anyone who has seen the commercial, "If Mikey likes it" realizes the connotation it implies. Well, my Mikey liked Brother Donald when they first met as teacher and student.

Brother Donald's kindness extended to our family, attending a 25-year anniversary Mass at St. Mary's for my husband, Jerry. As the mother of three sons, Michael, Joseph and Thomas, all Monsignor McClancy graduates, I felt I had to share yet another example of the special man he was.

Hopefully Michael is gladly showing Brother Donald the ropes in the Kingdom of Heaven, where their roles are reversed to student and teacher. May they both rest in peace.
