In the 17 & under boys division of Heroes basketball league, the RIP Rob Ogle beat the Crusaders by a final score of 49 to 42 on Monday. The high scorers for the RIP Rob Ogle were Chris Liander with 12 points and Stephane Gozo with 9. The high scorers for the Crusaders were Luis Solano with 12 and Michael Mercado with 9.

It was a close game until the RIP Rob Ogle pulled away by playing good defense. Trevor Bierne also contributed in the winning effort with great defense.

On Monday, in the 17 & under boys division, the Consolidated beat the FDNY by a final score of 43 to 31. The play of Tyler Bay was outstanding, providing passing for the Consolidated, as they pulled away and never looked back for the win. The high scorers for the Consolidated were Kevin Kennedy with 19 points and Chris Dougler with 13. The high scorer for FDNY was Andrew Winter with 12. Tom Pheifter also contributed in the winning effort team through defense.
