Assemblyman Mark Weprin is working with Susan Yang to find the burglar who broke into her home earlier this month. When her father suffered a stroke, Yang left home on January 14 to go to China to see him. Returning on February 5, she was shocked to discover that burglars had ransacked her home, removing cash and valuable jewelry.
However, the burglar unknowingly dropped a pendant at the scene of the crime. Yang found the pendant, photographed it, and told the police about it when she reported the incident. The police are investigating, but they have not yet found the perpetrator.
Anyone with information about the identity of the owner of the pendant should contact Weprin’s office at (718) 428-7900, or email weprinm@assembly.state.ny.us.
