Cops shot a man who fled from a car after it was stopped by cops investigating a narcotics complaint. Police from the 109th Precinct were called to 137-40 45th Avenue on Saturday evening over a report about drug use, during which they stopped a car occupied by a 27-year-old and 18-year-old man. The older of the two fled on foot, and police chased him to the intersection of Colden Street and Elder Avenue, where one of the officers fired his weapon, striking the suspect in the elbow. He was transported to New York Hospital Queens, where he was listed in stable condition. A quantity of cocaine was recovered at the scene. Both men were placed under arrest, with charges pending as of press time.
