Subway shoves

Dear Editor,

Yet another innocent person was shoved onto the subway tracks by a deranged person. Fortunately the perpetrator was caught by police and the victim only suffered minor injuries.

How many more people are going to be pushed in front of subway trains or physically assaulted on subway platforms? When is this insanity going to stop?

There are far too many dangerous people on the streets of our city, and our mayor doesn't have a clue as to how to deal with this continuously worsening problem.

Subway crime has increased significantly over the last several months, as more people are slowly and cautiously returning to taking mass transit.

Something very radical needs to be done by the MTA to reduce subway crime. Time is of the essence here; the safety of all New Yorkers who ride our subways and buses must be first and foremost.

Sincerely,

John Amato
