As the series Broadway Blockbusters celebrated its tenth anniversary, some of its previous performers are gathering for the show “Broadway Blockbusters: The Anthology: Ten Years in Review.”

Councilman Peter Koo held a press conference on Friday, Aug. 10., to invite the community to the performance, which will be held at Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing.

Andrew Joseph Koslosky, the producer of the series and the chairman of the board of the Josephine Foundation, stressed his excitement for the show.

“Over the last 10 years, we've had about 14 shows, and we've called back the people from those performances,” said Koslosky. “We're combining music, dance and song into an amazing performance.”

Koslosky added that the Broadway Blockbuster series is about professional performers working with artists who will some day be equity performers. The Broadway Blockbuster series is expected to continue the following summer.

All proceeds from the show go to the Josephine Foundation, an organization that helps fund youth involved in sports and the arts.

The performances will be on Thursday, Aug. 16.; Friday, Aug. 17, and Saturday, Aug. 18 at 8 p.m. General admission is $25 and VIP reserved seats are $35. For more information to reserve tickets, visit the website www.thejosephinefouondation.org or call 516-334-1536.
